Direct-to-Consumer and Ecommerce continue to shake up more industries with each year that passes: from mattresses and orthodontics, to men’s shaving and automobiles. While this has been happening for a few years now, it has completely accelerated with social distancing. Agencies are now being called upon to provide senior clients with guidance on this evolving business model. However, more should be actively leading the charge with their clients. Given the level of consumer insight, digital capabilities and strategic horsepower in the agency business, the opportunities are significant.
