Alice Mathews

Alice Mathews has served as Chief Executive Officer at Tombras since January 2019. Prior to taking over the CEO position, Alice was managing director of the Washington DC office of Tombras for 15 years, running the US Department of Transportation account for 18 years and working on iconic campaigns such as “Click It or Ticket” and “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” as well as developing campaigns in response to emerging issues such as distracted driving, drugged driving and self-driving technology. She also worked with a variety of other clients including the Department of Homeland Security, Federal Emergency Management Administration (FEMA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and a variety of other non-government organizations.

Alice started with Tombras in 1998. Prior to joining the agency, she was a Tombras client, working in health care and economic development marketing. Alice is an alum of the University of Alabama (Roll Tide) and holds a Master of Business Administration degree.
